Volunteers Needed for the Diocesan Convention 2008 | Print |  E-mail

The 113th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington is set for January 25-26, 2008 at Washington National Cathedral. Volunteers are needed for registration packet collators, hospitality, election tellers, registration assistants, cashier, floor tellers, marshals, ballot collators and pages. Sign up online or contact Ann Talty, 202/537-6548. Register by Jan. 11.

The preacher at the Friday night Eucharist is the Rev. Ian Douglas, Professor of Mission and World Christianity at Episcopal Divinity School. Keynoter this year will be Peter Steinke, author of "Healthy Congregations" and "Congregational Leadership in Anxious Times."
