Bishop Chane offers two suggestions on how the members of St. Thomas' Parish can be of greatest help to the people of Haiti. Haiti

  1. Donate your dollars to Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) onlineor send checks to P.O. Box 7058, Merrifield, VA 22116-7058 and earmark your gift specifically to "Haitian Relief." With your donation identify yourself or your congregation as being from the Diocese of Washington.
  2. Or make checks payable directly to the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti and send them to the attention of the Bishops' executive assistant, Keely Thrall, at Episcopal Church House, Mount St. Alban, Washington DC 20016. The bishop will ensure that your donation will go directly to support rebuilding the infrastructure of the diocese under the direction of Bishop Jean Zache Duracin.

A webcast of the January 17 Service of Prayer for Haiti at Washington National Cathedral is available at www.nationalcathedral.org.
