At it's regular meeting last night, May 27th 2009, the vestry of St. Thomas' Parish entertained the following motions:
- A motion to move forward with the Capital Campaign and hire the Episcopal Church Foundation to lead us in this endeavor;
- A motion to spiritually and financially support our parish's external fund-raising team;
- A motion to establish a formal Building Committee, with Matt Cloninger as its chair;
- A motion to move forward to hire Matt Jarvis/Auraform as the project architect pending re-negotiation of several details in our contract with him.
As you will see from the motions below, which include the vote tallies for each, the vestry has decided overwhelmingly to approve each of them. The vestry will keep the parish informed on progress in each of these areas.
