As a vibrant, living place of faith, St. Thomas' continues to grow. But growth may cause some of us to feel disconnected from one another. Some may feel they are missing out on the intimacy and community that we all long to have - that deeper sense of connection to one another and to God. Sometimes connections just happen, but most of the time we have to make them, by opening ourselves up to knowing and being known by one another.
The Inclusion Committee invites you to the second "What's Your Story?" event on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 6:00 pm, following the Taizé service. We'll start the evening with wine and a light supper and fellowship. Then we'll have a short time to hear from various people in the church about what St. Thomas' means to them and how they have found faith and community in this place. Others can share as well, or you may want to just listen with no pressure to say anything.
This is a fun and formative event to help deepen our connections with one another, and our connection with God, by hearing each other's story, hearing what has brought us to this parish and what has kept us here. Come to Taizé at 5 pm and stay for "What's Your Story?". You'll find not only inspiration and lovely food and wine, but a deeper faith through listening to and hearing from one another!
