As a follow-up to the exciting developments coming out of the recent vestry meeting on May 27th, we are pleased to announce that the minutes of this meeting have been posted here and on our growth website as well as on our growth bulletin board in the parish guild room. At it's regular meeting last night, May 27th 2009, the vestry of St. Thomas' Parish entertained the following motions:

To the members of our diocese:

Due to the outbreak of swine flu, the diocese would like to provide some information that we hope will be helpful. We are not making specific recommendations, and ask only that our parishes use their best judgment as this situation develops.

On April 26, the Discernment Committee along with Eleanor Wies, a consultant for the Diocese, presented a report on how much money St. Thomas' Parish will be able to raise in a capital campaign for the proposed new church building. The report is available online at the Growth site.

Plan to attend the St. Thomas workshop "Christian Relationships for Gay Men" at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 19th, in the Guild Room. Facilitated by Dave Kucharski, a parishioner who's a former theology student and a licensed psychotherapist for individuals and couples, the workshop will help you discover how to be the boyfriend/partner/husband God wants you to be.
