As a vibrant, living place of faith, St. Thomas' continues to grow. But growth may cause some of us to feel disconnected from one another. Some may feel they are missing out on the intimacy and community that we all long to have – that deeper sense of connection to one another and to God. Sometimes connections just happen, but most of the time we have to make them, by opening ourselves up to knowing and being known by one another.

The Inclusion Committee invites you to the second "What's Your Story?" event on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 6:00 pm, following the Taizé service.

Over and over parishioners say that dinner groups are the best way to get to know other people in the parish. The foyer dinner program has been a longstanding success at St. Thomas', and we kick it off again this Fall.  In the program, 6 to 10 people are grouped together and agree to meet once a month for a meal and fellowship. Dinner groups usually meet 4 times in a cycle - one cycle in the Fall/Winter and one in the Spring.

As of August 31st, we received $159,202 in pledges and plates versus a year to date (8 months) budget of $203,336. We will be sending out pledge contribution statements within the next week.

St. Thomas' Parish prides itself in everything that it does, from parish life to outreach to events. And now, we're pleased to offer even more ways to stay up with what's happening at St. Thomas'.
