The chair coordinates clergy and pastoral care visits, as well as delivery by Eucharistic ministers of Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend regular services.

The Pastoral Care Committee, has been earnestly inviting all members of the parish to consider a ‘call’ to serve as a member of the Sunday healing team and/or a Eucharistic visitor. A training will be held January 13th, following the 11:00 service. It is said that the art of handwritten correspondence is in decline, but St. Thomas' parishioner Meg Stephens is doing her part to keep the practice alive. For over four years, she has faithfully pursued a ministry of writing personal notes to parishioners who are ill, experiencing a family crisis, or simply in need of a lift in spirit.
