What is there for women at St. Thomas' Parish?

The women of the Episcopal Church are nothing if not persistent. There were many women in the leadership of the church pushing for racial integration in the 1950's and 60's. After consecrating our first women bishops in 1989, the United States Church faced backlash worldwide which continues today. But the Episcopal Church USA is making waves again not just by electing a gay man as bishop in the Diocese of New Hampshire, but last year naming a woman as our Presiding Bishop.

The church today is in its fourth year of leadership under our new rector, The Rev. Dr. Nancy Lee Jose. Women serve at all levels of leadership, but we need more women to lend their voices to our mission.
