You will soon receive a letter detailing a vision and plan for St. Thomas' in 2012 based on the visioning process that was recently completed. In order to be a shining witness of God's love and grace in the heart of Dupont Circle in accordance with our vision, we have set a 2012 stewardship campaign goal of $380,000. Please prayerfully consider tithing (10% of your income), increasing your pledge, or offering a pledge if you've never pledged before. We need your help to make sure that vision a reality. Please either pledge online (www.stthomasdc.org/pledge) or fill in a pledge card (found either in your letter or at St. Thomas's in the Guild Room) and return it no later than 1 November. Our weekly team of ‘counters’ spend several hours, Sunday by Sunday in this largely invisible, respectfully quiet ministry, which is essential to the ongoing life of our community. Their work would be so much efficient, as the work of the rest of this spiritually-centered team, if they had the luxury of recording amounts with numbered envelopes.
