What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication," and is a modern-day version of having the newspaper brought to your doorstep. Sites like this one for St. Thomas’ Parish, use RSS as a means of public distribution for the news that they publish on their web site. RSS uses an HTML-like format called XML to distribute the information in a simple, organized and standardized way.
