John Carter, Senior Warden

John Carter is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, but has lived in Washington most of his adult life. He received a degree in Journalism from the Catholic University of America and has had many positions in journalism since that time. For the last 18 years, he has produced daily newspapers at conventions and trade shows around the country. John was received into the Episcopal church in 1990. He has served on many parish committees, most recently as chair of the Stewardship Committee. He completed the four-year program, Education for Ministry, offered by the University of the South. He lives in Arlington with his partner of over twenty years, Louie Stewart, and their Westie, Sullivan.
