This little boy, homeless and poor, receiving a gift from a total stranger in the abandoned Wallgreen's parking lot, in the hot sweltering August sun in New Orleans, in the ninth ward gave me a Christmas miracle that I get to share with you now.

I believe deeply that there is a God, and that God is a God of justice.  I pray that that little boy will grow up to be a leader who will stand up against injustice in this world because he lived in it, but despite it, knew how to celebrate the gift of a stranger. May your Christmas be a happy, healthy, holy and whole. Amen
