After a fabulous advent of conversation, brainstorming, and fellowship the women of St. Thomas are excited to bring you, the St. Thomas parish, a few opportunities. 1. Volunteer to write a brief "Women of the church, past and present..." blurb for the Sunday bulletin. We hope to run these during Women's History Month in March. 2. Volunteer to help organize, plan, and carry out an event for Women and Girls' AIDS day in March. 3. Study a woman of the Bible, Mary Magdalene through the use of historical fiction. This study will be led by Leti Marquez using the book, Mary, Called Magdalene.
While these opportunities are sponsored by Women's Ministry and will be led by the women of St. Thomas, they are not exclusively for the women of the parish. If you would like to become a part of the Women's Ministry listserv, there will also be a sign up for that available. Sign ups will be on the door in the guild room through January 25th. E-mail Jessie Brewster with any questions.
